Dollar Tree Haul | Part 1: Wet n Wild

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Mimosas & Marionettes! My name is Rosalinda.

Today I bring you a famous or maybe infamous Dollar Tree Haul! I know… They got me at the Dollar Tree! I’m a sucker for affordable beauty products and I figured I would do a haul for you because I’m pretty satisfied with the items I purchased.

I am going to split this haul up into 2 parts! I will do all my Wet n Wild products first and then the 2nd post will have all the other items not mentioned.

Okay, let’s get into it shall we!

Obligatory Bag & Receipt shot!

BOOM!

Next is the entire haul in one shot!

BOOM!

When I set out on this mission to buy makeup at the dollar store I wasn’t expecting much. I’d watched some videos on hauls like this and they never seem to find any cool products except for maybe the occasional e.l.f. Cosmetics find which I will get into in part 2 of this post.

So when I got to the store  and walked up to the makeup section. I was so excited to see their selection of brushes! When I saw they were Wet n Wild I got even more excited! Wet n Wild is a vegan and cruelty free brand that I’ve recently started paying way more attention to!

I grabbed every single style of brush they had available.

The first brush I found was this angled liner brush! Now that I’m home I wish I would have grabbed two. I started using this as a gel liner brush and it’s working so great for me. The little grip in the brush is so helpful and just adds such a professional look to the brush!

The second brush is the concealer brush! I used it with the foundation I also picked up at the Dollar Store and I will go more into detail about that experience in part 2 of this haul. It’s a great concealer brush with very thin light bristles! It blends everything out perfectly.

The third brush came in very different packaging and I had to dig to find this one.

It’s an eyeshadow brush. It’s very fluffy and has extra thick bristles! Perfect for packing on product and also blending!

The fourth brush is this stunning crease brush. Not only is it super appealing to use. This sleek white brush is excellent for blending out your crease to create a flawless finished look. I am in love with this brush.

The Fifth brush was this beautiful smoky liner brush! Again — Wet n Wild just killing it with clean white and pink tip stylish look! The smoky liner brush is excellent for adding that extra color underneath your lower lash line, smudging, blending, or applying a liner!

It’s versatile and perfect for every day use!

I was so excited to try all these brushes and I must say for $1 each these brushes are an excellent dollar store purchase!
Next is the Wet n Wild Megawear Mascara in Very Black! I’ve tried a mascara from the wet n wild line before but it has been a while since I’ve picked one up. I decided to scoop this.

I have to admit I actually like this mascaraz The wand is great and perfect for the lower lash line.

One down fall this mascara does have is that it does take a while to dry so make sure you give it some time to chill before you continue doing your makeup or you’ll end up with black spots all over your eyelids and under eyes.

This is the only eyeshadow from Wet n Wild that I picked up. It’s in the shade Creme Brûlée.

It’s the perfect color for the highlight of almost any look. It’s also a great base!

Next I picked up this beautiful sheer pearly Wet n Wild Lipstick in the shade Breeze Brise.

It says it has a silk finish. I give the packaging an 8/10 but the product itself is absolutely great! I think this shade is a bit sheer for me but I use it as the perfect topper for a matte lipstick if you want a more glossy look.

This lipstick shade goes perfect with simple everyday looks!

Here are both swatches for you!

You almost can’t see the eyeshadow swatch but I did a light one. You can build this eyeshadow up to a nice pigmented shade.

The last item I picked up was this pack of Wet n Wild Under The Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes. This pack contains 10 wipes.

These aren’t the best makeup wipes out there but they do get the job done! I feel like they got almost all of my eye makeup off which was the real test in my opinion.

However a travel size pack of 10 wipes for $1 is a little pricey for me. Lol I know… I can’t believe I’m saying that. I just think it isn’t the best wipe you know… I guess it’s just not my favorite. I’ve picked up lots of makeup remover wipes with more wipes for my $1 — BUT I can’t complain because this is a cruelty free & vegan makeup brand and totally worth the $1. My face didn’t feel any different after using them but maybe they will be your favorite so try them out!

And that concludes part 1 of this haul! Those were all the products I picked up from the wet n wild line at THE DOLLAR TREE PEOPLE!

There were other products from the line that I didn’t grab but in my opinion I grabbed the ones that appeared to have a higher quality (more bang for your buck) and that I would use the most.

Please stay tuned for my next post which will be part 2 of this haul. I will be talking about all the other products I picked up while on my trip to Dollar Tree!

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Don’t forget to follow me if you haven’t already to be notified of my future post!

Don’t forget to leave me a comment! Let me know if you’ve tried the wet n wild brand before and if you shop at your local dollar tree for awesome deals!

  1. The dollar tree is truly a magical place. I got to go during a vacation to Florida (what a great way to spend a holiday, going to the dollar store) and I got some really awesome flavoured lip balms! I wish we had something like them in England – sometimes the pound shop just doesn’t cut it.
