My name is Rosalinda and today I wanted to post about my L’oreal Extraordinary Clay Voxbox that I received complimentary through Influenster to test and review!

In my Voxbox I received 3 full size products. If you’re up to date on my blog then you know that one of my goals for 2017 is to have all around healthier hair! I also mentioned in a previous post that my hair is super long and wavy and that I also have super oily roots! So I was very excited to get the L’oreal Voxbox because this line is specifically for oily roots.
Here are the products I received…

1. L’oreal Extraordinary Clay Pre-Shampoo Treatment
2. L’oreal Extraordinary Clay Shampoo
3. L’oreal Extraordinary Clay Conditioner

I also received a postcard explaining how to use the products and how/where to share my experiences on social media!

I thought the packaging of the products was so sleek and professional! They look like products from a salon.

The instructions state that I should first cover my roots with the Pre-Shampoo Treatment Clay Mask.

The recommended time to let it sit in my hair is 5-10 min and then you are supposed to rinse it out in the shower before you go into your shampoo and conditioner routine.

I have to admit that I’d never tried a clay hair mask before and didn’t know what to expect. It took me a while to get this product in my hair because of how much hair I have and because it’s super thick. I think the first time I used this product I used a little too much just because I wasn’t sure how to cover my entire head! 🙃 Haha. The second time I did this routine I used a fine comb and separated my hair into sections so I could really get ALL of my roots. It helped me so much.

 

I do the hairline & the top of my head first and then work my way towards the back! It’s such a relaxing process. The clay has a very thick consistency but it’s very gentle on your scalp. It’s supposed to help absorb all the oils near your roots and give you 48hrs of purified roots and hydrated ends!

I let it sit for about 10min and then I jumped in the shower to rinse it off!

After rinsing I continued to do my normal routine in the shower. I used the L’Oréal Extraordinary Clay Rebalancing shampoo and conditioner to finish off the 3 step system!

The shampoo was so fluffy and creamy! It surprised me on how clean it actually leaves my hair! It also smells so good!

 

The conditioner is like liquid velvet for your hair. It’s so nourishing and leaves my hair feeling super soft and silky. I truly enjoyed using it!

This system is truly a blessing! It’s so easy to use and fits right into my daily shower routine!

After using this 3 step treatment I’ve seen a bit of a difference in my hair!

1. my roots are no longer oily and they seem to be super soft and light!
2. I dont have to wash my hair that often. Today I hit 3 days without washing my hair and to some of you that might be gross but its truly a miracle for me!
3. My hair gets super frizzy and dry if I wash it often! The cool thing is that I can still smell the fragrance of the 3 step treatment! Surprisingly my hair is still fresh and my roots don’t feel heavy with oil and dirt!

I would totally recommend this product if you find yourself having to wash your long locks all the time. I am loving these new hair products and would like to thank both L’oreal and Influenster for selecting me to review and test them! It was so fun and exciting!
