January Ipsy Glambag Unboxing & Review

Hello everyone! Welcome back to Mimosas and Marionettes!

If this is your first time here… hi there! 👋🏼

My name is Rosalinda and today I bring you my January Ipsy Glam Bag Unboxing and Review!

Let’s get right to it shall we!

I didn’t know this before but Ipsy sends all their packages in this Metallic foil hot pink bubble mailer! They are adorable and I reuse them when I ship out my Poshmark Packages!

Don’t forget to follow me on Snapchat! @drunkmarionette

Not only does it save me money but I’m sure the ladies who purchase items from my Poshmark closet don’t mind the cute packaging! 🤗 I hope it makes someone else’s day just like it makes mine!

Fist this I pulled out was this lovely little postcard!

It’s mainly an ad for ipsy and a shameless plug for you to download their app! It’s actually really awesome and it gives you insight on the products you are getting as well as some info on the content creators!

I always find the postcards fun since they set the theme for the items they selected for you to get in your Glambag.

Up next are these Korean Face Mask by Love recipe!

You can find them HERE but they are currently sold out!

They sent me the Aloe Mask and the Avis Berry Mask!

I was so excited to see these this month! They were not inside my ipsy bag since they are a bit large and I’m sure it would’ve been hard to stuff these in the actual bag!

They both look super fun and I can’t wait to try them!

I will be doing a more in depth review on these once I use them so stay tuned for that!

After I pulled out this little white dropper bottle by Temtu.

It is a Primer and Base.

I did a little swatch for you on my hand just to show you the consistency and texture.

Its very light and so far has been easy to apply with my fingers. I thought it was going to be a bit too runny for me but when I apply it to my face it’s nice and refreshing.

I believe Temptu is a makeup brand that promotes airbrush application. Most of their products are made to use with their airbrush system. Make sure to visit the website for more information.

I’m not sure I would’ve picked this up on my own if it didn’t come in my Ipsy Glam Bag. However I enjoyed it. I’ll keep you updated on if I continue to use this and like it. As of now it didn’t impress me much but that could change. Maybe I’ll build up the courage to get my own airbrush system!

I have a code for you from Ipsy for you to try this product out! Make sure you check out their website and  type in

Next up is this lovely Model Co Blush!

It retails for $22.00! $12.00 more than what my Ipsy Subscription cost!

This shade is Peach Bellini.

I haven’t purchased any Blush lately because I bought a cheap Blush palette not too long ago. So I was excited to see this! I also don’t own any Model co products.

Its SOOOO CREAMY!

Everyone seems to be sure into peachy colors lately! All the Peach palettes releases are getting such hype and honestly I am right there with them! I am totally diggin all the peachy shades and love this color!

Here is a swatch for you.

It’s very bright and shimmery! Perfect for a spring look. Super excited to wear this often!

The next thing in my bag was this Smashbox Camera Ready SPF 15 BB Cream!

I love Smashbox I think that they are a super innovative company but pretty expensive in my opinion . I’ve been wearing this for about a week now and I have been enjoying it.

The color is a little too orangey for my face however after blending it out I manage to make it work.

Here it is blended out on my hand.

It is a little tacky to the touch after applying and I had to get used to it. You can definitely tell it has SPF. Lately I’ve been trying to take better care of my skin. I didn’t know you were supposed to be wearing SPF all the time so I totally want to make it a habit in my skincare routine. The full size retails for $39.00 and you can shop  online!

I am excited about this however I am also excited about finding other products that might do the same thing and trying them out as well!

The last thing in my bag was an eyeshadow by Manna Kadar Beauty.

The shade is Fantasy.

I think this shade is stunning. It will be the perfect topper for my crease and will also make a great transition shade. It’s so creamy and shimmeryI have a code for you to use if you decide to check out their website!

I was expecting a more exciting eyeshadow since I did get a similar shade last month I thought they would switch it up. Maybe I need to update my profile?!

Anyway you can’t win them all. Haha! Overall I enjoyed this months bag!

  1. I only like the masks in the bag. Like I said before I tried Ipsy and it’s funny how three of the items in the bag I have received before in Ipsy! I might have to try it for one month just because it’s February next month lol. Valentine theme! If I do sign up I will use your link for sure! Anyways I just posted my Birchbox review if you wanted to read it! Tell me how well the primer works though after a few more uses. I have been dying to buy an airbrush system to use it with since that’s what it’s made for.
